From Strategy to Solution: How Betterish Was Born
Betterish isn’t just the product of lived experience—it’s the result of strategic thinking, product development expertise, and an unwavering commitment to solving real problems for patients. With a background in automotive product management, marketing, and management consulting, our founder has spent her career designing systems, optimizing workflows, and translating complex challenges into functional, user-friendly solutions. Now, she’s bringing those skills to healthcare, ensuring that Betterish is as practical as it is personal. So, jumping all in with the support of her husband and two fur babies, she turned her own frustrations, with disparate tools not designed with patients in mind, into purpose.
She knows firsthand how low-energy days impact everything—professionally, personally, and medically. On those days, the ability to show up and manage responsibilities is critical—but traditional tools aren’t designed for people whose lives fluctuate due to chronic conditions. That’s why Betterish is built to be:
Flexible: It adjusts routines based on energy levels, symptoms, and commitments.
Comprehensive: It provides a centralized space to track obligations, appointments, and health data.
Empowering: It doesn’t just help patients keep up—it gives them back their autonomy
Betterish was born out of the all-too-familiar comments:
“You manage it so well. I could never.”
“But you don’t look sick.”
“I don’t know how you do it all. I’m always so tired.”
"You're so smart; I'm just not that capable."
Her response? “Let me teach you.” Because managing a chronic illness isn’t about willpower—it’s about having the right systems, support, and tools to make it work for you. Betterish isn’t just another wellness or habit tracker app—it’s a lifeline for patients who need a system that adapts to them, not the other way around.
